Today we used a handy practice site from Kahn Academy. I linked to it via mrmathman.com/nameit

We plowed through J-1, J-2, we named J-5 and you have J-3 and J-4 for homework. As usual, here are some test tips:

  • J-1 reminded us how the outlier rule works and how boxplots are drawn.
  • J-2 was a great reminder how we make blocks. And then randomly assign treatments to each block.
  • J-5 is best done as a chi-square 2-way table test. But it can also be done as a 2-prop z-test. You canNOT use goodness-of-fit. You have 2 variables, not one.
